Haul the Loads Co-Op Delivery Can't Cover — Iowa, Nebraska & Kansas

GrainKit is piloting delivery for the gaps free co-op delivery structurally doesn't reach: farmers who bought seed, fertilizer, or feed off-co-op (auction, another farmer, an out-of-network supplier), who need it fast on a rush or weather-window job, or whose co-op truck or tender is already tied up. We're building a small, personally-vetted network of local drivers to run those one-off loads — a real local guy the farmer can talk to, not a random app match. If you're an independent trucker or hauler looking for local ag hauling work and want to be considered for delivery loads during the pilot, register your interest below.

This is registering interest only — not a job offer, contract, or guaranteed work. There's no payment processing or automated load matching in place yet. We're collecting names so we can reach out directly once we have confirmed demand from farmers in your area.

Planned Pilot Pay for Iowa, Nebraska & Kansas Routes

Nothing is finalized and there's no guaranteed volume yet, but here's what we're currently planning for the pilot:

Example: a 36-mile delivery = 36 miles × $14.50 = $522 total fee → your 80% share = $417.60

These are planning estimates for the pilot, not a finalized rate card or guaranteed job. We'll confirm actual pay and load details with you directly before anything is scheduled.

The per-mile rate runs higher than a farmer's usual outbound grain-hauling rate (~$5/mile) because these are one-off, one-way runs with no backhaul on the return — that's baked into the pay, not just the price the farmer sees.

Trucker Terms & Conditions

These terms describe the current GrainKit paid delivery pilot and the rules that apply if you later accept a haul through GrainKit. Please read them carefully.

These terms are an agreement between you and Linkedd LLC. GrainKit is a brand of Linkedd LLC, a Montana limited liability company (file no. C1631496), 226 S Cruise Ave, Helena, MT 59601. Contact: hello@grainkit.online.

Counsel review notice — paid delivery pilot

Before the paid delivery pilot scales, GrainKit recommends review by a qualified attorney. These terms are a plain-language description of the live workflow, not legal advice. They do not determine whether GrainKit, a driver, a carrier, a broker, or another party needs a license, registration, permit, bond, insurance, or other authorization. The wording of these terms does not resolve those regulatory questions.

GrainKit’s limited coordination role

GrainKit currently runs a small, human-coordinated pilot. The public signup is only a registration of interest — not a job offer, contract, assignment, guaranteed work, or promise of payment. There is no automated load matching or payment processing in the signup flow. GrainKit may later review a paid farmer request, contact you, and line up a driver for a particular load if demand and availability support it.

For an assigned load, GrainKit’s role is limited to coordinating the request, reviewing route and request details, sharing practical pickup and drop-off information, making the assignment, sending operational communications, updating the pilot’s manual status, and administering the current confirmation, issue-review, cancellation/refund, payout-record, and rating flows. GrainKit is not the driver and does not take over the driver's operation or responsibilities.

These terms do not say or imply that GrainKit or any driver is licensed, insured, bonded, permitted, authorized, or legally or regulatory compliant. They do not determine whether a party is a carrier, broker, contractor, employee, agent, or another legal category. Any required analysis, agreement, authorization, insurance arrangement, or other obligation must be handled separately.

Payment Split

You receive 80% of what the farmer paid for the delivery. GrainKit keeps 20%.

When You Get Paid

You’ll be paid within 7 days of the date the delivery is confirmed and marked complete. Right now, payments are sent manually via Zelle or Venmo. We follow the current payout process — no automation is promised that isn’t already in place.

Confirmation Required

Payment only happens after the farmer confirms the order was satisfactory, both when they place it and when the delivery is finished. Once the farmer confirms everything is good, the payment is final and will not be taken back. An open delivery issue pauses payout and payment finalization until GrainKit Support/Review resolves it.

Driver eligibility and documents

Before assignment, you must have accepted these Trucker Terms & Conditions and submitted a driver’s license, current proof of insurance, and vehicle registration through the driver-interest flow. GrainKit’s founder reviews those documents manually and the current workflow blocks assignment unless all three have been reviewed and the driver is marked “Verified.”

“Verified” is only an internal workflow status. It is not a legal-validity check, background check, insurance-company lookup, license or registration verification, or determination that you, your vehicle, or your operation satisfies any applicable requirement. You must keep your own documents accurate and current and must promptly tell GrainKit if anything changes, expires, is suspended, or is no longer applicable. GrainKit may request updated documents or decline or end an assignment.

Your continuing responsibilities

You are responsible for your own business and operation at all times. This includes maintaining any driver’s license, endorsements, permits, registrations, insurance, cargo coverage, auto liability coverage, bonds, certifications, inspections, equipment, and other authorizations or safeguards that may apply to you, your vehicle, the route, or the load. You must determine what applies and comply with applicable federal, state, local, transportation, safety, environmental, agricultural, and other requirements. GrainKit does not promise that the documents it reviews are sufficient for any of those purposes.

You are also responsible for handling the load safely and lawfully from pickup through delivery, including loading, securement, custody, transport, unloading, and protecting the goods from loss or damage; confirming that the load and equipment are suitable; following applicable weight, routing, hours, and safety rules; and stopping or declining a job if it cannot be performed safely or lawfully.

You must communicate directly and promptly with the farmer and GrainKit about pickup readiness, timing, access, delays, route or load problems, damage, shortage, an accident, or anything that could affect completion. The assigned-driver view gives you the farmer’s practical contact and load details so you can coordinate the handoff; it does not transfer GrainKit’s responsibilities to you or make GrainKit responsible for your communication.

You are responsible for your own taxes, reporting, records, expenses, equipment, fuel, and business decisions, and for determining your own worker, contractor, employment, tax, and insurance obligations. Nothing in the signup, assignment, payment split, or these terms promises a particular legal or tax classification or creates one.

Insurance

You must carry valid insurance that covers the goods you’re hauling and your vehicle/operation (standard cargo coverage and auto liability). Keeping that insurance current is your responsibility, not GrainKit’s.

Before assignment, GrainKit may review your driver's license, current proof of insurance, and vehicle registration as part of a human document review. This is not an automated legal-validity check.

Who’s Responsible for the Load

Once you accept a job, you are responsible for the load until it is delivered. Standard trucking liability expectations apply.

GrainKit does not assume custody of the goods or supervise your driving, loading, securement, route, vehicle, or customer communications. Report a problem promptly rather than representing that a delivery is complete when it is not.

If You Can’t Complete a Job After Accepting It

Tell us right away so we can refund the farmer. Failing to give prompt notice creates a real problem. We simply need clear and timely communication. Under the current workflow, a driver cancellation after acceptance can result in a full refund to the farmer and the delivery being marked canceled; no payout should be treated as earned for a canceled load.

Delivery Issues & Review Window

A farmer may report a delivery issue until 48 hours after the delivery is marked complete or until the farmer confirms the delivery satisfactory, whichever comes first. Satisfactory confirmation immediately closes that window.

When an issue is open, both the driver payout and the farmer-side payment finalization are held until GrainKit Support/Review resolves it. Do not treat an open issue as a completed payout. Ratings are paused during an open issue and do not settle or replace the private review. Possible internal outcomes include releasing the driver payout (which still requires the manual payout step), refunding the farmer while keeping payout held, or recording a partial resolution with no automatic money movement. These terms do not promise a particular review outcome.

Public Ratings

After the existing delivery confirmation and issue-review window closes, the driver and farmer may each submit one 1–5 star rating and an optional short public comment about the other party. Ratings are not available while an issue is open and do not replace or resolve a dispute. A submitted rating cannot be edited in the current flow.

GrainKit may hide a rating or comment that is abusive or inappropriate; hidden ratings do not appear publicly or affect the public average, but remain in the internal record. Ratings are not a substitute for reporting a delivery issue through the confirmation flow.

Terms, legal status, and updates: By checking the agreement box and submitting the driver-interest form, you agree to these Trucker Terms & Conditions as they apply to the current pilot workflow. If you later accept a load, these terms continue to apply to that load. These terms are not a formal carrier agreement and are not intended to determine whether a carrier, broker, or other authorization is required. They describe the working pilot arrangement and do not resolve regulatory questions, create a legal classification, or replace a separate agreement or qualified legal review. Before the paid delivery pilot scales, GrainKit recommends review by a qualified attorney. GrainKit may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Counsel-review placeholder — governing law and dispute resolution

GrainKit has not specified governing law, venue, arbitration, mediation, or another dispute-resolution process for this pilot. No state, venue, arbitration promise, or other dispute-resolution term should be inferred from this page. Qualified counsel should review whether any such provision is needed and, if appropriate, add it in a later version.
