These plain-language terms apply when you visit or use GrainKit. By using the site or buying a GrainKit product, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or purchase a product.
Who you are contracting with. These terms are an agreement between you and Linkedd LLC. GrainKit is a brand of Linkedd LLC, a Montana limited liability company (file no. C1631496), 226 S Cruise Ave, Helena, MT 59601. References to “GrainKit,” “we,” or “us” in these terms mean Linkedd LLC. Contact: hello@grainkit.online.
What GrainKit offers
Free calculators
The Break-Even Calculator is free to use. It lets you enter your own crop, yield, cost, futures-price, and basis information to estimate break-even price, local cash price, and profit or loss. GrainKit also currently offers the free Cash Rent Analyzer and Equipment Loan/Lease Break-Even Calculator. These tools calculate from the information you provide; they are not a promise of what your farm, land, or equipment will earn or cost.
GrainKit Pro
GrainKit Pro is $19 per month or $149 per year. Both billing options provide single-user access to the same six downloadable files: crop budget, cash flow worksheet, land rent calculator, input cost tracker, grain marketing log, and harvest planning checklist. Pro access continues while the subscription is active.
GrainKit Team Plan
The Team Plan is $29 per month or $299 per year and covers up to 3 people total. One owner can share the full Pro access with up to 2 additional email addresses. Each person uses their own email; shared passwords are not required. The owner can add or remove teammates while the Team subscription is active.
Full Toolkit
The Full Toolkit is a $49 one-time purchase. It includes the same six downloadable files and does not renew or create a subscription. The purchase provides permanent access through the GrainKit download flow, subject to the service being available.
Market Insights
Market Insights is $10 per month. It provides educational deep-dives about seasonal price patterns, historical basis behavior, and futures markets, plus a report-based USDA regional cash-bid and basis view for supported Midwest regions.
The regional view uses named, periodic USDA AMS reports. It is not a continuous or live market feed, an exact elevator quote, a forecast, or a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or hedge.
Optional Cash Rent report
The Landlord Negotiation Report is a separate optional $12 one-time add-on available from the Cash Rent Analyzer. It is generated from the calculator information you submit and is not part of the Pro, Team, Full Toolkit, or Market Insights plan ladder.
Price alerts
Price alerts are a separate, optional opt-in. A free alert can send an email when a selected corn or soybean threshold is crossed. GrainKit Pro Alerts is a separate $7-per-month subscription that adds a weekly market digest with corn and soybean levels, basis notes, and seasonal price-pattern context. Nobody is enrolled automatically by using a calculator.
Alerts and digest messages depend on available source data and service operation. They are checked or sent periodically, not continuously; timing, completeness, and delivery are not guaranteed. They are general educational information, not a price quote, trading signal, hedging instruction, or financial advice. You can unsubscribe from free alerts, and you can cancel Pro Alerts to stop future billing.
Not financial, legal, or professional advice
All calculator outputs, reports, market information, alerts, and worksheets are estimates or educational information for planning purposes only. They are not financial, legal, tax, agricultural, commodity-trading, or other professional advice, and they should not be relied on as the sole basis for a decision. Grain markets, land rents, input costs, equipment costs, and operating conditions vary. Your actual results may differ. Consult a qualified financial advisor, accountant, attorney, agronomist, or agricultural marketing professional before making financial, legal, or business decisions.
Paid delivery pilot
GrainKit separately operates an early, human-run paid delivery pilot for seed, dry fertilizer, animal feed, and general farm supplies in Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas. It is intended for gaps such as off-co-op purchases, rush or weather-window needs, or an unavailable co-op truck or tender. The delivery fee is separate from the cost of the supplies, which you pay to your dealer or supplier as usual.
The request page currently shows distance-based pilot pricing of roughly $14.50 per mile with a $200 minimum, rounded into fixed tiers through 62 miles. Requests beyond 62 miles need a custom quote. Pricing, coverage, and driver availability may change.
You submit the request details and pay the shown fee to place the request into the pilot's scheduling review. Payment does not create an instant booking or guarantee that a driver or delivery will be available. GrainKit follows up directly to confirm availability and details before anything ships. Paid GrainKit subscribers may receive priority handling once the pilot is fulfilling orders, but no plan includes a guaranteed delivery.
GrainKit coordinates the current pilot workflow between farmers and independent truckers or haulers. Farmers must review and accept the separate Farmer Terms & Conditions; drivers must review and accept the separate Trucker Terms & Conditions. Those pages describe the current confirmation steps, refunds, delivery issue window, load responsibility, insurance expectations, driver payments, and ratings. Driver document review is human review only and is not an automated legal-validity, background, or compliance determination.
Payment, access, refunds, and cancellation
- Payment processing. Stripe processes GrainKit payments. GrainKit does not receive or store your card number, expiration date, or security code.
- Subscriptions. Pro, Team, Market Insights, and Pro Alerts are recurring subscriptions at the price shown at checkout. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not generally refund a billing period already paid, and access remains available through the end of that period.
- One-time digital purchases. The Full Toolkit and the optional Landlord Negotiation Report are final sale. If a download or report is missing or materially does not work as described, email hello@grainkit.online so we can review it.
- Delivery pilot payments. Delivery requests are governed by the separate Farmer Terms, including the current two-confirmation process, the 48-hour delivery issue window, and the stated driver-cancellation refund process. A request payment is not a promise that delivery will occur.
Services provided as described
GrainKit is a small service and may change, pause, add, or remove tools, content, reports, alerts, supported regions, data sources, plan features, and pilot availability. We will describe paid products and current access as accurately as we can at the time you buy. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular future feature, continuous data, a particular report publication schedule, or a guaranteed delivery date.
Acceptable use
Use GrainKit as intended for your own farm, operation, education, or advising work. Do not misuse the service, scrape or automate bulk data collection, attempt to bypass access controls or paywalls, or resell, copy, or redistribute GrainKit subscriptions, reports, downloads, or access without permission.
Limitation of liability
GrainKit is provided “as is” and as available, to the fullest extent permitted by law. GrainKit and its team are not liable for financial losses, missed opportunities, trading or farming results, delivery losses, business interruption, or other damages arising from use of the calculators, reports, market information, alerts, worksheets, subscriptions, or delivery pilot. You are responsible for verifying information and making your own financial, farming, legal, and business decisions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information GrainKit collects and how it is used, including information connected with the delivery pilot, payments, reports, alerts, and calculator results.
